The girls love to look at themselves in our family scrapbooks. They much prefer those to the plain picture albums we have. One of my projects this year has got to be catching up a bit. I have a little over a years worth of photos sitting in a pile to be scrapbooked.
I've been having fun playing around with color lately. These are some "Retro" presets from my new Adobe Photoshop Lightroom program.
I think this one is called "Color Pop." I love how it looks on this photo!

bear's birthday
Almost every week it's someone's birthday at our house. Last week it was Bear's birthday. The girls love to throw parties for each of their beloved stuffed animals. When they're feeling especially festive, it can be several animals birthdays on the same day! Typical parties include special food prepared at the play kitchen, birthday decorations, and card or board games.

the moody threes
It amazes me how quickly the moods of a three year old can change. These photos were all snapped within a minute of each other.

christmas in orlando
These photos are an attempt at summarizing our month. I'm still getting used to Christmas in Florida. You'll see a fake "snowfall" of soap bubbles in the second photo. I really miss the beauty of real snow falling!
The last photo in this set was taken a few days after Christmas at the Citrusbowl parade. We had a great time despite the 80 degree temperatures. Check out David's quote that appeared the next day in the Orlando Sentinal.

ballet
The girls danced in their first ever ballet recital this Christmas--an abbreviated version of the Nutcracker that lasted 23 minutes in its entirety. After only 4 months of lessons, they did quite well on stage and seemed to take to performing quite naturally. Their "snow angel" scene lasted about 1 minute. I hope to post some video footage in the next few weeks.
