I am almost done processing the wedding. Whew! It's quite the marathon. I'm having fun, though. I think I'll have one more post with some reception shots. Stay tuned!
Just chillin' before the big moment.
A first glimpse...
The guests' view.
The cool view.
The really cool view.
Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Coy.
I love this one. It's so dreamy.
The artsy one.
Beautiful boquet!
This one just wanted to be in black and white.
Gotta love that sunflare! And of course, the beautiful couple!

the real mccoys
I have been a busy, busy girl lately! I met Connie a few months ago when she asked me if I'd be willing to photograph her wedding. It's quite an honor to be entrusted with such an important occasion, and I was so happy for the chance to really get my feet wet. Thanks, Connie, for believing in me! As a photographer, I feel so lucky to get a behind the scenes glimpse into people's lives, and Connie's was no exception. I so enjoyed experiencing the relationships she was surrounded with on her wedding day.
The first of the getting ready shots. I just love 'em in black and white.
Make-up time.
Looking good!
The beadwork on her dress was gorgeous!
I don't know why, but this shoe shot was just begging to be in color. Do you see where I've hidden the rings in the photo?
This is probably my favorite getting ready shot! Isn't she just radiant?

lynn & foster: part 2
Fun engaged couple + great location= a plethora of photos
Just a few more engagement photos. We had a lot of fun together! The possibilities for backgrounds at this place were endless, and I really did get a bit carried away. Lynn and Foster, you guys are great!

lynn & foster: engaged!
I had such a fun time with these two! They were totally up for anything I wanted to try which makes for a very fun session. I just fell in love with this little series, but there are so many more, that I think I'll have to share again. I'm looking forward to your wedding :)

easter festivities
It's too hot in Orlando to put candy in plastic eggs, so the kids get tickets that they exchange at the candy table. True redemption.
The kids are entertained by our friend, Marc, the magician. He's an amazing magician, and our girls always look forward to his magic.
I just love my fisheye!
A is lovin' her candy, and totally not in the mood for a photo.
I played with this black and white a bit. I added Ginnie's soft gold on top of my conversion, and added some texture. What do you think? It's sort of old-school-classic to me.

three little girls
I had fun taking photos for my friends, the Cockings. Their girls are so cute and fun. I just love their "personality shots." Don't you??

little miss spunky
Little Miss Spunky and I have been learning to work together a bit better over the last few weeks.
An actual conversation between us (before we took spring break):
Me: M, I don't like this.
M: What?
Me: Homeschool! I don't like homeschool!!
M: Oh.
Me: So, here's how it's going to work. Are you listening to me?!?
M: (lying in an arc over the chair) Yeah.
Me: Ok, I'm going to give you work, and you're going to do it. Are you listening?!?
M: Yeah.
Me: Ok, so what did I say?
M: Um...I have to be good, and listen...
Me: No, that's not what I said! It's very simple really. I give you work, and you do it. Now, tell me what I said.
M: I don't want to.
Me: Well, if you don't tell me, then I'm not going to know you understand, and this is NOT going to work!
M: Ok, you said, you give me work, and I do it.
Me: Yes, you've got it. Because as far as I can tell, we've got two options next year: homeschool or public school.
M: I am NOT going back to public school.
Me: Well, if you don't do your work, you may have to.
M: Why?
Me: Well, they can make you.
M: THEY can't make me do anything. I can do whatever I want and I am NOT going back to public school!!!
