I'm determined to learn how to use my external flash this year. Call it a New Year's Resolution or a photographer's development plan. It's something I've been wanting to learn for a long time. These were taken at night in a darkish hotel lobby. I bounced my flash over my left shoulder, and the result was nice, diffused light. I was pleased! Yay, me :)
Love the tree coming out of A's head--looks like a hat!
ReplyDeleteYeah! A new challenge!
ReplyDeletelooks like you're getting some good practice in. keep having fun--you're doing good.
ReplyDeleteI love how the girls look like they're wearing beautiful Christmas tree bokeh crowns. :-) How is the home schooling going?
ReplyDeleteGood to see you here! The girls are getting so big, and so cute.
ReplyDeleteUuuuggg...my flash. I am really just starting to understand what it can do. These are amazing though...and with so much open space it really illuminated things well. I never think to bounce it in back of me. My new years resolution is white balance.
ReplyDeleteYour lighting looks GREAT in these- way to go!!! I love how it looks like she is wearing a Chrismtas tree hat in the 3rd shot! ;)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I haven't looked at your blog in a while, man I've missed a lot! Great job Kristina. I love the pic of Alex - too beautiful.
